Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a confident and self-motivated individual to join our success sales team as our Business Development Manager specialising in web development sales. This is a new role and has enormous potential for somebody with a website development sales background.
We are a worldwide Internet Marketing and Web Development agency. We practice expert marketing and technical techniques for 100s of businesses worldwide across our core services, specialising in SEO, PPC and website design/development.
As our Web Development Business Development Manager your main responsibilities will be to:
Drive the sales of web development for the business by developing new business relationships, generating and negotiating new income to an agreed target
Liaising with potential clients through direct communication in telephone calls, emails and face to face meeting if required
Actively and successfully managing the sales process: lead generation; credentials pitch; asking questions; solution pitch; negotiation; close; handover to the account management team
Be self managed, however support is available by the Managing and Sales Directors for complex large pitches and strategies
Attend industry events and tradeshows, your professional manner will aid your intention of gaining new business leads and contacts
Manage and maintain a pipeline and ensure that all sales administration is kept up-to-date using our internal CRM software
Create and be accountable for all client proposals, contracts and any further documentation
Possess a thorough understanding of clients marketing objectives including their Return On Investment (ROI) objectives
Respond to tenders and requests for information in a timely manner
Ensure that Click Consult remains proactive and responsive to prospective clients
To succeed in this role you need to have the following skills/attributes:
Extensive experience in selling website development and generating new business via cold calling
Proven consistent track record in sales using a consultative sales approach
Self starter with attention to detail
Proactive and driven
Team Player
Articulate and focussed
Excellent communications skills
Positive and enthusiastic
Experienced engaging at senior levels
Knowledge of SEO, PPC, Social Media and other online marketing channels would be advantageous
